Can't say enough about this site...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

I love seeing all the passionate BGSU fans here. Hard to talk BG athletics with folks over here in Akron...

Thanks again, Grant, for putting the site on the web. I couldn't live without it.

GO FALCONS!!

I've been having fun on it again too... :-)

It's all about the people... not so much about the site. The site's just a way for the people to get together when they otherwise wouldn't be able to!

Same for me too, THANKS GRANT!!! I find this site especially helpful since I've been out of the state of Ohio for awhile too. I find out more about BG athletics, facilities, coaches, players, fans, etc. here on AZZ more than any other places combined. What's also funny is, despite having only met a few of you on this site, as I've been here many times over the years, you almost get the feeling like you know some of the people you have never met. :)
GO BG!!!

Anything that earns praise from a Miami fan has earned its props. This site came around at a time when nobody wanted to deal with BG football or basketball, and has grown with BGSUs fanbase.

Let the well earned gushing roll....

Whilst we're blowing sunshine up Grant's pucker, do y'all think we should throw some cash his way as well?

Bandwidth isn't expensive, but it isn't free. I'll see about throwing in some cash for the site (Paypal).

On the otherhand, this site could be a threat to national security, if these folks are surfing here while the missles are flying over the north pole!

Yeah, the kitty is pretty empty these days. I was going to wait until closer to the football season to bring it up, but donations are always welcome. The easiest way to do it is to click on the helmet at the top of the page and then click on the PayPal logo there on the home page.

Also, look for 2 new T-shirt designs and possibly some more merchandise to be available w/in the next week or two, just in time for football!!! All proceeds go to the upkeep and ongoing costs of Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba.com, of course.

Well, I have to say that I appreciate this site even more since I have moved across the country and away from any and all media covering BGSU. Thing is, this site is much better than any media outlet I've ever encountered. What makes the [evil] historian lurking inside my head happy, you may [probably not] be asking yourself? People [most] REFERENCE their sources when reporting big news. Who really needs the stinking media? Sorry 87.

Seriously, though, Grant. You and your father's legacy have fostered a wonderful little community here. I really think I would be lost without it, and I imagine that there would not be nearly as many alums so closely connected to the University as so many of us are without this site. You have done a phenomenal job for not only us, but the University as well. I wish I could thank you with a donation to help keep this site running, but that is nearly impossible on a [very] limited graduate student's budget. I hope my appreciation (for the time being) is enough. You deserve much, much more.
