Predictions anyone?
I predict 24. We received points the previous couple of seasons and we did noot have close to the hype we do right now.

I'm guessing we'll be just outside the rankings in the polls with a lot of votes. But as we've already seen, a lot of preseason magazines and websites have ranked us.

If ESPN was still running the poll, I'd say 23 because of the wisconsin game on espn.

I'll say 27.

I'll say........#25-27. We could be ranked but I don't follow USA Today very much to know how they perceive "mid majors".

IF BG can start 3-0, we'll be ranked in the top 15, IMO.

Seems to me there are a lot of scenarios here.

1-If we beat Wisconsin and lose to Boise State and go 9-2 we have a shot at the top 25. If we end up 10-2, losing the MACC we'll surely be top 25. And of course, if we end up 11-1 winning the MACC we'll be in the top 25.

2-If we lose to Wisconsin, it'll be tough to finish in the top 25. I think if we also lose to Boise St., we'd have to win all the rest of our regular season games and win the MACC, finishing up 10-2 to be top 25.

3-What are our chances for getting to a BCS Bowl? I think if we finish 12-0 we'll go.

By the way, I have a couple of questions.

First, is it already determined what Conference a "non automatic qualifying BCS team" (e.g., BG) would play this season? Would it be a Big East team?

Second, is it already determined which Bowl Game a "non automatic qualifying BCS team" (e.g., BG) would play in? Last year it was the Fiesta Bowl.

Freak: Dead on, my friend. If we beat Wisky and a highly touted Boise State on the road, we'll be flying high.
