This is from the 1959 game vs. Delaware, the game that solidified BG as the #1 small college team in the country.


anyone notice anything in the background? :wink:

Is that the beginning of Anderson Arena in the background? Seems a bit early to me, but I can't remember exactly when Anderson opened?

it gotta be anderson arena....football stadium used to be out there...it looks like an arena...definately no the BA or the Library. or the education building or chilly's or any other building in that general area

yup. its AA. I thought the same thing that it might be a bit early, but it opened in the fall of 1960, so its just about right.

This is one killer photo..... Who here would pay $20 to get this photo and an autograph from one of the BG players? I know I would - It would look great on my office wall.

Exactly my thoughts - Someone email the AD with the idea. Split the cash with the player and the AD.
