"Richards and assistant coach Eric Golz have a total of nine seniors on the 23-woman roster. A pair of seniors, Natalie Sampiller and Ashley Wentzel, are the team's co-captains for 2005.
Those nine seniors are looking to become the first class in school history to qualify for the MAC Tournament in all four seasons. The rest of the senior class includes Britt Anderson, Molly Bremen, Leah Eggleton, Samantha Meister, Megan Rapp, Ali Shingler and Julie Trundle."
Not too shabby for a program entering only it's 9th season.
If we can find someone to step up for Kristy Coppes, the scoring machine that graduated, we should be solid again. Virtually everyone else is back.
Coach Andy Richards & staff deserve a ton of credit for what BG has accomplished. Richards has guided BG to THREE MAC Championship game appearances in his first 5 years, winning the title as the lowest seed in last year's tourney.
