I wasn't knocking any conference. But, there are teams and conferences that schedule weak OOC opponents on a consistent basis. Yes, the MAC relies on teams being willing to schedule Buffalo and directional Michigan, but some of these "bigger" schools load up on 1-AA and the worst 1-A opponents they can find.
This is Pathetic:
Baylor- SMU, Samford, Army
Texas Tech- FIU, Sam Houston, Indiana St. That maybe the weakest schedule ever and they will probably be in the top 15 after it.
A&M- Clemson, SMU, Texas St.
Oklahoma St- Montana St, FAU, Arkansas St. Close contender with TT
Kansas St.-Fiu, Marshall, North Texas
Kansas- FAU, Appalachian St. La Tech
Nebraska- Maine, WF, Pitt.
Oklahoma- TCU, Tulsa, UCLA
Missouri- Arkansas St. Troy, New Mexico,
Iowa St.- Iowa, Illinois St. Army
Texas- Ohio St. Rice, La Laf.
Colorado- Colorado St. New Mexico St. Miami. Least somebody has some balls.
There are a bunch of mediocre teams in there that will enter conference play 3-0.
