I listened to 1580 for a short time yesterday to see what kind of signal it has. I live in a surburb of Columbus. It was around 5:30 p.m. and the signal was OK, but not great. It would be clear and then it would fade and I would hear a lot of static for a few seconds and then it would become clear again. After the radio was on for about one minute it held the signal pretty well, but it was nothing to write home about.

I'm not complaining, I'm just reporting my experience.

If it makes you feel any better, WBNS 1460 -- the flagship for Buckeye football -- doesn't have a very good signal either, particularly at night.

(It may be better than WVKO, but still not good).

Hmmm.........
I listen to 1460 all of the time and the signal is just fine. Granted, once you get to about Delaware (OH., that is), the signal is weak.
