Dangelio Hall post game quote on Cole Magner...

Post by MACMAN »

"We were like, 'Throw the ball to Cole. Everybody else is out there dropping passes. Throw it to Cole,' " Hall said. "Cole got back there, caught a punt, and he was one block away from taking it all the way. If you want anything done, put Cole out there. He'll get it done. I hope he makes the team — bad."

Now we all know Cole has had great work ethic, excelent ability to adjust routs and get open with scrambelling QBS that need to be able to move, unlike the statues of the past.....

Cole is on his way, and word is he has the nod to start against Tenn....with one injurry, and Vicks personal request to Mora....
So Coles got Falcon fans for him...and the two top players for Atlanta wanting him on the team....
where is Donald....YOur HIRED!!!!!! :D

Wow...

I hope they all aren't blowing smoke, but this is about the best pub an undrafted FA Falcon has ever received.

Go Cole!

Hall's the guy that Cole stood up to in one of the first practices. Looks like he made a heck of an impression! :D

That's great news. The players usually know who should and shouldn't make the team based on talent, the rest is just politics and business (financially, contracts, etc.).

As somebody who follows the NFL pretty closely, I can say that it is rare to find a UDFA getting this much endorsement from his teammates. I especially don't remember an UDFA getting this much endorsement from the stars of the team. WR is a good position for an UDFA to make an impression, because most teams carry 5 or 6, but they don't really have 5 or 6 that are top notch. The Browns, for instance, have kept 3 different UDFA WR's on their squad since their rebirth in '99. It looks like Cribbs might be making a name for himself as well this year.

The way things are sounding Cole just about has a roster spot locked up. Atlanta's WR corps is poor, so he should be able to merit playing time come regular season time.

Josh's fave NFL team is Atlanta because he loves Michael Vick. Now we'll have an even better reason to watch Atlanta!
