Well, that sounds like a perfect opportunity for an alumni function here in Lexington. I will have to get on something right away to get the Kentucky area BG alumni out to the game to welcome the players, coaches and any BG fans that may be making the trip.Falconfreak90 wrote:Games against Kentucky....
The game is slated for January 2nd at 7pm in Memorial Coliseum.

They weren't too bad, but not to great either. According to a recent article, They are scheduling pretty soft this year. Only 5/12 OOC teams they play had winning seasons last year. 18-16 last year and 4-10 in conference. It is also a pretty young team. I think BG will have a good chance of coming down here and winning.

That game is over Christmas break...if the roads aren't solid ice and don't have 10' of snow on them, I might have to make that trip!UK Peregrine wrote:and any BG fans that may be making the trip.

UK (18-16) got bounced from the SEC tournament in the first round by Auburn. But the women's team did make the WNIT semifinals. In fact, Kentucky beat EMU by 11 points in the first round of the WNIT. A BG/UK matchup should be very interesting. Both programs appear to have turned a corner and are heading in the same direction up the NCAA ladder. I look forward to attending this game and hope the Falcons leave Lexington with a WIN!Falconfreak90 wrote:I understand UK had an outstanding season last year.
Cool Mike. I hope to see you then. I'll definitely try to put together a little function here.Metz wrote:
