We saw Brantley get hit and get his knee iced up, he was walking alright though with the ice on the knee still. Unfortunately, you can walk on torn ACL, just can't move side to side. I really hope he doesn't play with the brace and hurt it even worse...

I could be wrong but I don't think you can make a torn ACL any worse?
Terrible news, just terrible news. I'm far from being a doctor, but an ACL injury is not good news at all. I don't like the idea of trying to play with a brace as surgery seems the eventual option, but that's his call. Anyone know how Haneline and Johnson are doing? I hope Johnson's knee is just a little banged up and nothing more, that would be very bad news as well.
On a brighter note, it's great news about the SEBO. September is better than never.

Yeah, but Falconboy I'm sure has some "inside" information that says that this information was planted by aliens to thwart the schemes of rich potential donors to the University...

Not good at all!
But injuries are part of the game, as we all know. Hopefully, Haneline and Johnson are better...as well as Brantley. This was his year to step up!

Well, in theory you can. You are putting more stress on other parts of your knee and can very well tear your PCL or for that matter you could shred the ACL even more. I would not want to just brace it up and play, but that is just my opinion.

I agree with rf....I don't think I'd take a chance on that. Too serious of an injury.

Having experienced a torn ACL, I cannot imagine trying to play football on it. ACL injuries can create a false sense of security as time passes. It can feel perfectly healthy during normal walking, but as soon as side-to-side or twisting motions come into play, the knee can give out in a heartbeat. I had that happen, and I honestly think it was more painful than the original injury. I can't imagine trying to play on it, even in a brace.
Whatever decision he makes, I hope it's the right one for the long-term.
