Yeah, you just wait until we tell the silverback gorilla he can't thump his chest anymore.. THEN you'll see how offended animals can get!Dayons_Den wrote: As for the whole PETA / animal rights thing there is a difference with the mascot offense thing- People can be offended, to my knowledge animals cannot be offended.

The government does not list PETA as "terrorist" because they aren't terrorist. The government does, however, list certain abortion clinic bombing groups and animal rights groups that vandalize and such (I think the ALF is one) as "terrorist".Dayons_Den wrote:Have you checked the casinos?TG1996 wrote:Maybe the Ute and Illini tribes are on vacation and can't be reached?
FYI The Seminole tribe was/is the only native american tribe NOT to surrender to the United States government.

And I find it interesting that neither PETA nor right wing groups who bomb abortion clinics are labeled terrorist because they often do resort to terrorist acts. I guess the "liberal media" doesn't want to print Christian Terrorists next to Muslim Fundamentalist Terrorists in their left wing rags. . .

I might be an Mars with this, but at some point, ...sooner or later, ...this topic should be taken up on the "Free For All" board rather than the basketball board. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, because I realize that I might be way off base.
Anybody get a chance to see the freshman lately? How do they look?

Did you know that James Naismith, the guy who invented the darn game, is the losing-ist coach in Kansas Jayhawk history?ZiggyZoomba wrote:So, how about that basketball, huh? Yep, sure is round and orangish and goes through the rim to score points... yep... that's basketball alright....
