a quote from the Atlanta Journal Constitution:

Rookie free agent wide receiver Cole Magner returned to practice after missing Tuesday's workout with an ankle injury suffered in practice Monday. Besides his sprained right ankle, Magner also said he has a chipped bone. The Alaskan, known to teammates as "Sunshine," is pushing for a roster spot and said missing this game would be critical.

Just wondering if Cole's new nickname might be somehow related to the QB on "Remember the Titans"? If memory serves correctly, that was his nickname and having blonde hair, being new to the team and being a football stud makes me think.....maybe.

I'm really going to start to wonder if the Falcon's captain also happens to be their "strong side" backer. :o :o

Yes that is where his teammates got the nickname from.

Apparently, Roddy White won't be playing tonight and Peerless Price is a "game time decision". Let's hope Cole gets a chance to shine early.
