no news of it on their site, but the AP wire today announced that he signed with the WildThings of the Frontier League. I just drove by their stadium last weekend, its a great looking park for that level. Hopefully this is the start of a quick road up for Andy.


EDIT:
Also, Richmond (Indiana) and Chillicothe are in the Frontier League, which makes for a fairly easy roadtrip for some of us that might be interested in catching a game.

In a way, I'm happy for him. But it has to be a little frustrating for him that he didn't sign with a minor league team.

I was surprised when Andy didn't sign with a major league team, assigned to the minors of course. Looks like he is adjusting well. Maybe he can latch on to a team in the off season.
