Coach, Staff and Captains will be available Saturday at 4 p.m.

Aug. 25, 2005

Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University football coach Gregg Brandon will host the Falcon Football Kickoff Rally at 4 p.m., Saturday, August 27 in the south end zone of Doyt L. Perry Stadium.

Coach Brandon, his coaching staff and team captains Steve Sanders, Mike Thaler, Teddy Piepkow, Rob Warren and Omar Jacobs will be on hand to meet those in attendance.

Mrs Freak and I'll be there. I hope to leave Green by 1:00 pm.

Should be a great time...especially with all the early road games. Will be good to get to the Doyt for ANY reason! :D

why isnt the Chuck Wagon a captain?
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Captains are voted by the team members.
...and he obviously didn't receive enough votes. The problem is that there are only so many votes to go around and captain slots available, so a few team members (e.g. Pope, Lane, Jordan, Sanders, Fry) are not going to be captains.
