Anyone hear/remember this?

After reading a thread about the need for more MAC coverage etc., I just remembered something that occurred a couple of weeks ago, while arriving at my youngest granddaughter's birthday party...My son had (I believe) 1100 on (Cleve. home stations for Indians)...evidently, the talk show guy had mentioned BG in what was perceived to be somewhat unflattering terms. Several callers jumped all over him about his comments... all I caught..and it was the last part of the show, was that HE said he hadn't bad-rapped BG, just was critical of the fact that the station had jumped away from a POSTGAME OSU show to cover a BG game...or something like that.... As I said, I'm not sure if it was even 1100 or who the talk show guy was, but it was very interesting to hear him getting slammed by BG people.

Anyone else hear this?....any more details? 8)

It had to be Mike Trivisonno trying to slam WKNR in Cleveland..

No, it definitely wasn't Trivisonno...I know that idiot's voice...just don't know who it was or which station it was on for sure...just thought maybe some AZZer's had picked up on it and jumped this guy.

If I remember correctly it was Kevin Snyder. He was referring to WTAM being the station with "all the balls" with being the home of the Browns, Indians and Cavs and slammed WKNR for carrying Bowling Green football. As far as I can remember this happened last fall.

WTAM sucks...as does all of Cheap, um, Clear Channel.

I don't know what the fuss is about if you go to WKNR's website you can't even tell that they are affiliated with BG sports. but of course they have osu crap up.

You're right about the lack of BG stuff on WKNR...only time I hear Kenny Roda talk about BG is when the Freak calls him on it. And, after the 1st year of broadcasting BG FB, they've "farmed out" most BG games to 1220. It's OK by me, as I can hear both stations well, but don't understand the KNR "mentality" if you will.... OSU, OSU etc., but little, if any, mention of BG. And the comments that I alluded to originally on this thread took place approximately 3 1/2 weeks ago, NOT last fall...and it was NOT 1100 "bashing" KNR....just don't know which station it was on for sure.
