Wow! That's awesome! Kent, Akron and BG! It's about time Cleveland news stations began taking advantage of local alumni bases from these schools. Hopefully this will be reflected in their on-air coverage.

Not to be nitpicky, but they could stand to update the linked news articles, though. The GMAC bowl was what, like three years ago now? Well, it feels that way anyhow. So when does this football things start this year? :wink:

They SHOULD list the three institutes of higher learning and one "institution" by alphabetical order. I may have to send them an email to that effect.

Did you guys happen to see the results of their poll on the BG page? Needless to say, their visitors don't like the current system.

Do you think the new BCS system is an improvement?

channel 5 has listed bg on its page for at least two seasons. two of its anchors are bg alums: lee jordan, and former bgsu trustee leon bibb.

You beat me to it...I've been reading BG stats on this site for past 2 yrs. at least..... and Lee Jordan is a BABE! (at least to us "old guys" she is) :lol:

she is to me, too. between my senior year of high school and freshman year at bg, i was at the hall of fame parade in canton (i guess i couldn't stay away after being in it for the four years prior). i had on a bgsu t-shirt, and lee pointed at me and yelled, "go falcons! i went to bg!" i thought i was hot stuff.
