Watched College GameDay today (WE ARE NOW LESS THAN 7 DAYS AWAY FROM KICK-OFF!!!!!!) and as mentioned on another post Mark May is now my favorite analyst. He was the only one of the five panalysts who called BG this year's Utah and called out a victory at Wisconsin(Absofalconlutely!) and at Boise (Oh how I hope he's right!).
Unfortunately I was disappointed that I didn't catch any BG highlights in the College GameDay Kickoff Intro and it sounds like there's a new band and song sad to say.
How do we get Mark May an Honorary Degree?

MARK MAY IS A MORON
Mark May is one of the dumbest human beings in all of ESPN. His BG comment was the only wise thing to come out of his mouth...DID you hear all of the other dumb things to come out of his mouth!?!? oh yea, trev alberts sucks too!
I can't even get excited about Mark May saying something positive, even if it is about BG, after all the MAC-bashing he's done over the years. Don't get too excited about a few kinds words. Anyone who has watched ESPN with him and Trev over the last few years knows he's always bashed the MAC. The one day he finally lightened up was when Toledo beat Pittsburgh (his alma mater) a few years ago. Pitt was really good that year too. Ever since then, he's kind of gone a little bit easy, but after all the $hit he said before, I could care less what he thinks.
The thing is, May picks a sleeper team every year and boasts about them in the preseason. Last year, it was Fresno State, and every time they won a non-conference game to start the year off last year, he gloated about it on the show until they lost a few in a row. I'm happy he "likes" BG this year, but if we experience the kind of success we all hope we do, it will have nothing to do about his comments about us in the preseason. Although I must say, I think he's starting to see the light about the MAC, so that's at least good. Later is better than never.

May is talking us up big time on ESPN. He picked us in the gameday show and again at halftime. Fowler is an Jacobs fan apparently also. I've been watching ESPN for an hour or two and have heard no less than 4 BG references. Even herbie called us dangerous. We "need" to capitalize on this media momentum with a win on saturday.
I am in agreement with those that said Ball State is our most important game of the first three. However, this Wisky game is very close just because of the hype machine that is behind us. If we disappoint now that everybody is paying attention, it may be very difficult to recapture that attention anytime soon. So close I can taste it!
