Two BG Alums mentioned by Roger Brown

Post by Warthog »

From Sunday's Plain Dealer:

"Former Grafton High and Bowling Green basketball star Anthony Stacey, now a veteran standout in Spain's pro league, is marrying a Spanish native and should soon receive dual citizenship."

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials! :partyman:

"Local trainer Shane Kline Ruminiski of the National Basketball Academy has added two interesting clients: Elijah Brown, son of Cavs head coach Mike Brown, and Tucker Kain, a former University School standout who will play pro hoops in England."
"An intelligent man is sometimes forced to be drunk to spend time with his fools."

Dual citizenship could open the way for Anthony to play in the Olympics, I think.

Can someone verify where Stacey attended HS? I thought he was from Elyria and played for Midpark? At any rate, AS was so much fun to watch. And it's really cool how his parents still come back to BG games.

Congrats AS!

You're close Freak, but it's "Midview", instead of "Midpark".
