Kickoff Reception...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Good times as always when Falcon Football is involved. Lots of AZZ's were there.
The team is ready to go....that much I can say. Coach talked about the importance of supporting the program and keeping the momentum going. Coach mentioned we average 22,000 on the road in MAC games and 17,500 at the Doyt. :( Big things are on the horizon for the program and we have to take advantage of where we're at.

One of the really cool things was Coach read off all the BG players on the Awards watch lists...I mean we have a ton of them. Coach Stud was a riot as always. They kept kidding that they haven't settled on the starter at QB yet..."If Omar is the starter...". That was funny. Omar seems like a quiet individual. Nothing really gets him rattled...kinda just goes about his biz.

Got a chance to talk with Coach Lovett and that was great. I can't wait to see what the defense does in 2005. Welcomed him to BGSU.

Rob Warren is just a huge man... Mike Thaler said everyone will be ready to play at Wisky...the bumps and bruises are there but basically everyone is fine. The Sandman? Look for him to have a HUGE day in Madison. Wisky better put their best DB on him...he is chompin at the bit to get going.

So who else isn't gonna work this week????

You know it is bad when I too have come to counting down the hours. I agree I think Steve Sanders is going breakout this year. He has shown flashes of being a primetime star (OU, Memphis). He has all the tools. Was watching the GMAC bowl game yesterday his 2 Tds in that were pretty impressive. 131 hours :?
