I'll give you guys a couple minutes to head over there and search for Omar's name.
Actually, don't waste your time. It's not on there. Broken down between "dropback" and "run and throw" passers, Omar apparently falls somewhere behind Chris Leak and Brodie Croyle (assuming you'd consider him a dropback passer as opposed to the other, though he's really a bit of a hybrid)
I think maybe Herbie just picked out of the "majors", although DeAngelo Williams (rightfully) ended up on his list of RB's.
Keep smilin' Herbie. By the time they realize you're full of s**t, you'll be rich(er).

Wow, that may be the biggest piece of garbage I've ever seen on ESPN and that's saying something. Obviously, Herbstreit feels the need to kiss the BCS's ass a little more than even he usually does. The only non-BCS representatives on this entire list were RB DeAngelo Williams (Memphis), best student section Utah, and OC Chris Peterson (Boise State). That's it, you got to be kidding me.
Pucker up big boy.

Herbie must still be feeling the effect of getting slammed around by BGSU in 1992...UK Peregrine wrote:Wow, that may be the biggest pices of garbage I've ever seen on ESPN and that's saying something. Someone is getting nervous with the non-bcs teams making so many waves these days.

Linsday knows more about the non-BCS teams than this clown does.
Omar is not one of the top 10 QB's in the nation? Ok, Kirk, sure. Your top 5 offensive coordinator selections (4 of which finished 18, 22, 41 and 70 in scoring offense last year) are equally brilliant.
He is nothing more than a shill for the major conferences, and a weak one at that. Most try to at least feign awareness of marquee prospects and players, and merely listing DeAngelo Williams as the token non-BCS player doesn't cut it. His "list" is nothing more than something any average person with 1 hour to conduct research would create.
