Anyone getting together for the game in Columbus, OH?

Post by Columbus_Zak »

I was just wondering if there were any plans to meet up at a watering hole in Columbus to watch the Falcons this Saturday. I'm around Grandview, and would be willing to go anywhere to watch. If I may make a suggestion, I would suggest the Black Horse Inn. It's right down the road from me, and I might possibly be able to work out some deals if we can get more than ten viewers there. Either way, wanted to ask.

People in Columbus watch the Falcons?

Yeah, those of us who couldn't give a toss about what the boys down the street do. Obviously Falcon fans aren't going to get any big screen tvs or preferential treatment, but I would like to watch the match with other Falcon fans.

Where's Grandview? I put it into mapquest and get a place on the ohio river. Would be glad to meet up with more falcon fans as we will be small in number (4-6) and will have to vie for TV time.

We will be in Gahanna on saturday morning for a freshman football game. The game will be over around noon so we are looking for a place to catch the game. Supposedly there is a place with big screens near Gahanna Lincoln HS so we won't miss much of the game.

The area is foreign to us so any help will be appreciated.

Grandview is on the west edge of downtown, kind of, across the river from OSU. As far as mapquest goes, try "Grandview Heights", and if that doesn't work, "Marble Cliff" is right next door. If OSU plays at the same time (which I believe they do), good luck getting BG on ANY TV in a bar. I'm sure it CAN be done, but you're likely to be around alot of OSU fans.

From Gahanna it's a straight shot down 670, about 20 minutes total time.

As far as getting a TV my local is never that busy, it shouldn't be a problem. As I say, if I can make it worth the bar staff's time, I might be able to arrange something.

Home so soon, Mitch? Or is time flying? Or am I confused again?
