You arent playing buffalo or eastern you are playing a tough and shove the ball down your throat big ten team.

How is that any different than some of the crazy Badger fans that are saying they are going to beat BG by 20-30 points???

I am far from a BG fan, but I do think the potential is there for them to beat Wisconsin by 2-3 scores.

My prediction:

BGSU_ _ _ 42
Wisconsin 24

The Wisconsin message board is going to be "out of control" with chaos after they lose to the Falcons.

The thing that makes me so excited about this game is UW's lack of an argument. I don't think we're going to win by 10-20 points either, but I do think we can win. One reason why I think we have a better shot than average is hearing all the takes.

BG cannot stop Wisconsin's huge Big10 OL from dominating them.
Wisconsin may have lost a lot of talent, but they're the Big 10, they've got tons of backups ready to step up.
Stocco may not be good, but he's still a Big10 starting QB.
Our RB graduated, but we've still got a guy who tore it up 2 years ago and then transferred to the Big10.

It seems to me that the biggest argument for why Wisconsin will win this game is because they play in the Big 10 and we play in the MAC...

I believe it. I see no reason not to beleive it. If I'm wrong, so be it. It's a prediction. People, on BOTH sides, just take things WAY too seriously. It's a game. We aren't playing. Therefore, we root and predict. The game is played, gloating ensues from one side or the other and life goes on.

I by no means have a big head going in to this game.

Heck I have already rehearsed my lines for the pregame bar scene:

"Please don't run over us too much. We just come from the lil ole 'MAC-Conference' and our guys are small"

Much like my line in Mobile about telling the Memphis fans to have DeAngelo take it easy on us. . . .

You arent playing buffalo or eastern you are playing a tough and shove the ball down your throat big ten team. You may win, but however you arent going to come into camp randle which is a difficult place to play in and beat us by 20 or 30. I dont care if you got omar jacobs, your D is soft like cookie dough and our running game is tough as nails so if any of you ever played football before you will know running the ball controls the clock and keeps omar marino off the field. This will make it hard for you to score a lot of points. But like I said you guys might win but if you think you are going to score 40, 50 pts and the Badgers are only going to score 17, 21 let me know I will place a bet with anyone on that. You wonder why no one respects MAC schools its because of those ridiculous predictions, I cant wait for you guys to see calhoun and Bernstein one of the best Full-backs in the nation run down your throat.....oh by the way I love how you guys dogg Barry Alveraz when he's the only coach in big ten history to win 3 rose bowls when greg brandon cant even win a MAC title against toledo.....remember when youve said Wisconsin youve said it all......Badgers-27 B-flea-21
Over at MHT, we've dubbed this phenomenon "failure to genuflect." When you talk to Buckeye fans, they immediately assume that anyone predicting a Miami win is "ignorant" about college football while those predicting OSU shut-outs are apparently just boys-being-boys on their own board. I think it's probably more annoying from the Buckeye fans.

As for this guy, it looks like y'all found the person who participated in the Tommy Bartlett Thrill Show without a helmet on. Have fun with him but try to return him to his mother in one piece.

Is it just me, or when people say "when you've said Wisconsin, you've said it all" does it make them sound really really stupid?

The acronym seems particulary appropriate since the underlying phrase is really just a nice way of saying, "F_ _ _ this guy!"

Ahhh all this defensive talk, that's the thing I hat the most about being a BG fan and a MAC fan, we have to defend our team and our conf. all the time. Anyway can we just play the game and the team that wins is the better team straight up!!!????

Good theory, but see in the eyes of many if we lose, then that's what we are supposed to do, no hard feelings, now go on back to the kiddie table and don't spill.

If we win, it will be because......................if only......................................when we are really trying..............................MAC......................................lucky........................Big Ten...................................kinda

The supposed Badger fan misspells Camp Randall and the Falcon fans get it right.

I do agree, however, with the horrible speller that this game will not be a cakewalk for BGSU.

Even though Wisconsin might be a bit down this season, we seldom get blown out at home. The last I recall was Indiana in 2001, which was our last year with a losing record.

I disagree.

Instead, Badger fans will patiently explain how our team couldn't possibly do that week-in-and-week-out playing a Big Ten schedule.

Hanging 50 on Wisky is.....

Post by Falconboy »

Probably a little premature. Could we? Yeah, but its not likely since Wisky's running game could easily eat up alot of clock not allowing us enough time to score that amount but I we can win this no doubt. So rabid Badger fan has some points but is a little naive. :goodman:
