BG vs Ohio State NEXT YEAR!!!

Post by Warthog »

Tonight's Sentinel reports that an announcement is expected next week concerning the 12th game on the 2006 schedule. The probable opponent is Ohio State!!! There is an opening listed on Ohio State's 2006 schedule for Oct 7.

Boy, I hope Omar sticks around for that schedule next year!!! Wisconsin, Boise and Ohio State. WOW!!!

Well, if I were Omar, this OOC schedule would be enough to make me stay! Could you imagine what victories in these three games and a MACC could mean? I have a hard time even thinking about it...

WOW!! Already looking forward to next year's OOC schedule if this one is true. 2 Big Ten teams, one of the best mid-major program in the country, and a trip to Miami, FL!!

Let's head into that schedule coming off an undefeated season!

I wouldn't be worried if Mr. Jacobs did leave. I'm sure he's smart enough not to leave if he isn't considered a top 5 or 10 pick. So he'll be setting himself up, and possibly helping us out on the extra money that we need for renovations.

That would be so sweet. If OSU thought we were tough last time, just wait till next year..., I would LOVE to end up my time here at BG with OSU loosing to another Ohio school for the first time in ages....

The thing is that this game may come later in the season, not at the start when the Falcons are getting their feet on the ground. And even if Omar goes, there is always Turner....

With or without Omar we will be replacing a LOT of talent next season...

Sanders, Sharon, Pope, Piepkow, Jordan.

We could, of course, beat OSU, but I don't think next year's team will be as strong as the 2003 team, based on paper anyways. A whole lot can change this season with players stepping up, etc, to change that opinion.

Very good idea.

Next season is a year away. Let's play the 2005 schedule first.

I know man...I'm expecting the UW tix at CBS to be in the area of $30. Throw in a $65 ticket at the 'shoe...plus both games requiring a hotel stay in order to tailgate...YIKES!

Those 2 games alone will cost much more than the rest of the season combined.

Exactly why we MUST win the MAC this year. We will greatly miss those skill players next year even if Omar hangs around. I am going to completely enjoy watching Sanders, Sharon, and Pope play this year because all 3 have worked really hard to become great football players for us.
