This makes so little sense... I should just delete it. I won't though, because I want you to be chastised by your peers for posting such drivel.

Chastise away, folks!!

No offense, but is your grandpa one of those old school southeners with a still in his yard? I think he's been hitting it pretty hard if he thinks Omar is going to transfer.

When Omar takes his first snap at Wisconsin he will have burnt his third year in four of eligibility. You have five years to play four. If he were to transfer to Florida, he'd have to sit out a year. That would be his fifth year. He would be giving up his last year of eligibility to transfer to a school where he wouldn't be able to play.

Yep, sounds believable...

Even if he *had* eligibility, why would he want to go to Florida where the great Chris Leak is in at QB?

Or maybe Mrs. Meyer's Husband thought he could get him there so he'd have a QB to take with him to the NFL in two years.

I actually think its kind of funny, and it is also a pretty good indication of how people in Florida feel about Omar's talent. My guess is that some intuitive Gator fan was wishing they had a proven quarterback rather than rely on Chris Leak to "gel" with Urban's system.

I still for the life of me don't understand how Urban is supposed to immediately turn Leak into a serious Heisman candidate like some sort of ventrilaquist. It may happen, for sure, but the spread is not an easy system to learn - especially in six months or so.

I hope he has some fun with them at their expense. "Yeah, my grandson goes to BG and he said they've heard that too!!!" LOL

You still have the finest avatar on this site. Therefore, the chastising may now stop. ;-)

if he has a good year I wouldn't be surprised to see him enter the draft early, but it would make no sense whatsoever to transfer. He's already getting the hype from the media right where he's at, why would he want to mess that up. This is just wishful thinking by UF fans.

Speaking of transfers, I heard Stover left for Wright St. Anyone hear about that?
