I heard the end of August... since the game isn't until October.

The Alumni Band board should be a little more pro-active in allowing people to plan the trip.
We should start getting the information earlier in the summer.

But that's just me.

Anyone can look at the football schedule and see that Homecoming is October 1st. They even mentioned it in past newsletters

Myself and Jackie Nemeth are the sisters planning homecoming stuff, along with KKPsi brother Oak (and possibly others, but he is the committee chair), and we want to get the invitations out ASAP. Jackie N. wants to get the invitations sent out 6 weeks in advance in the future, but since homecoming is just over 5 weeks away that won't be possible this year. You should get info 4 weeks in advance at the LATEST.

Can't wait to see you in your orange jackets!! :D

Understand and that is what I do. Really, though, how many of our alumni actually go to the website to figure out when homecoming is and then plan the trip.

I'm thinking they get the info early and THEN plan the trip.

This alumni band performance is going to be weird. From '96-'00, I sat and watched my brother on the field for halftime. From '01-'04, he watched me on or around the field. With not marching, I get to watch him on the field again while I am back in the stands!! Just strange to think about that I guess :)

All I know is that my mom is getting married on Homecoming, so Maryellen and I won't even be at the game, let alone participating in alumni band.

But the unknown element (which I think was the question...) is the song the FMB and alums are playing during pregame.

And no, we don't know that yet.

Uh yes, that little detail is very important to us old people.

Of course I, as a proud former flicc, will be playing the "visitors fight song"
