Cole Magner, get healthy soon

I'm really hoping Cole Magner can get back to being close or at 100 percent for the NIU game. Looking at his stats through two games, and understanding he's been banged up, he has 7 catches for for just 30 yards, 0 TD and a 4.3 ypc average. He's averaging just 15 ypg this far. Clearly, these are not Magner-type numbers. But the one thing that had me a little concerned was, in the Oklahoma game, he actually dropped or couldn't pull in a few balls that were thrown his way that he would normally catch with ease. I know he's got a bad foot, but these were balls that hit him in his hands. We're going to need a much bigger role from him against NIU and I hope he can rise to the test.

This is not a bash on him by any means, we all know he's one of our best players bar none. I'm just stating that bad foot or good foot, it was his hands early on that hand me concerned. Get healthy Cole, we're going to need ya!

I wouldn't look for much information on Cole this week. Brandon may be trying to keep Joe Novak in the dark as much as Novak is doing the same with Haldi.
