Germain Fitch's status?

After a two-year stretch where it was about as ruff as it could get for him, does anyone know the status of Germain Fitch for this upcoming season? Is he able to play when the season starts? If so, is he expected to be recovered and healthy or will this be another month-by-month waiting it out process?

It is my understanding that he is ready to go, baring any unforsen circumstances.

Factman, you seem to be in very close proximity to things. Have you heard how the newcomers Vandermeer, Soler, and Robinson are looking?

i saw him today on camput walking around he looked ok walking around i look forward to watching him play this year
