Agreed. Myles stuffed bread sticks stink in comparison to the ones at Campus Pollyeyes. I go there quite often, although when I want pizza I usually think Myles.
My family and I love Cristy's! They used to be just a block from our house and we would get it almost weekly. Now that they closed the "campus" location, we have only had it once I think.

I ate Cristy's once. It was cut into squares. I will never go back.
Pizza is round...circular, like a carousel. It is not meant to be cut into squares, it is meant to be cut into wedges. I detest any pizza place that cuts it into squares. You get pieces in the middle with no crust to hold onto, and pieces on the edge that are nothing but crust.
It seems stupid, but that is the only thing I remember about Cristy's pizza. That is enough to ensure that I won't go back.
Besides, Myles achieved pizza perfection long ago, why change perfection?
Gionino's or Guiseppe's!!! Oh, those are here in Akron.
I'd go with Myles but haven't been there in ages. My dad said the last time he went to Myles they really burned the bottom of his pizza and then he got bad service and will never go back.
I still love Myles.

I was disppointed they closed the location on Mercer Rd. as well. I don't think I've had any of their pizza since then.
hammb - GREAT pizza is GREAT pizza whether it's cut square or wedge. I've eaten Chicago Deep-Dish and it was cut in squares.
Growing up in Columbus, our pizzas were always cut in squares. It wasn't til I came to BG that I had pizza cut as slices.

I like Cristy's, but I'm married to somebody who likes Papa Johns, which I just can't understand. Any pizza is better than no pizza, but Papa Johns makes me want Subway.

Strange as it may sound, the square pieces are part of the appeal to my wife and kids. They seek out places with square sliced pizza. And they fight for the middle ones without any crust. my wife will actually take her first piece right out of the middle. Have you ever heard of that? Me? I don't care if they cut it in circles, squares, slices, octogons, as long as I get to eat it!

We have a long-standing agreement at work. Anytime any of us are near BG we must pick up a large pizza from Myles to bring to work to share at lunch the next day. Lots of BG grads at my place of employment.
