BALTIMORE -- Leading scorer Nicholas King is one of four players basketball players transferring from Coppin State.
Swingman King averaged 14.1 points in 2004-05, his sophomore season, leading the Eagles in points, 3-pointers and minutes played. He won All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference honors.
Coach Ron "Fang" Mitchell said Thursday that King was transferring, along with Raheem Scott, Darron Bradley and Derek Daniels.
Scott averaged 7.9 points and 4.7 rebounds last season. Bradley sat out last season with an injury, and Daniels averaged 3 points and 1.4 rebounds.
Coppin State went 14-15 (13-5 MEAC) in 2004-05.
