It's possible that Omar won't post gaudy numbers against Ball State. An early lead could lead to a lot of playing time for Turner.

Example: Last year against Ball State, Jacobs was 19 of 25 for 279 yards and 4 TDs. Pretty good numbers, but nothing like the stats from Wisconsin.
Actually those stats are far and above what he did against Wisconsin. He threw 50 passes against UW. Multiply those stats by two and you get 38-50 for 558 yards and 8 TD's. I know that is a stretch, but it does have some validity.

I see where you're going, and its a nice effort, but I don't think it works that way. That was the best/most disappointing part of last year, everyone wow-ing over the 4,000 yards and 41 TD's, but knowing that he sat a good deal of the second halves on the schedule...

And the scary thing is Omar threw for 458 yards in THREE quarters. BG had no yardage in the 3rd quarter at Wisky.
Had the offense kept its rhythm, he would have thrown for over 600!!!

10-1 and 4,000+ yards will get him to NYC, IMO.

I was thinking the same thing GF. I mean think of all the yards he would have had if all his passes were complete in all the quaters. Think the yards he would have had if Sharon caught that pass in the fourth, that right there would have put him close/over 500. He played all four than that was the best he could do in that game. I would agree with you if he didn't play the 3rd quarter, Freak, but he did.
