Saturday's Line
Saturday's Line
Does anyone know what the spread is for Saturday's game? I've looked many places on-line and can't find it. I would bet that it is at least 39...am I wrong? Please help. Thanks.

Yeah, anytime "key" players are suspended or missing in any form, the bookies generally take games off the board until they can get a handle on how the team will perform.
I would agree in most cases that 39 would be a reasonable number, but how much money is Vegas going to make on a team that gave up 56 the previous week?

Which one are you talking about?OptionQB wrote:but how much money is Vegas going to make on a team that gave up 56 the previous week?
"I don't believe I can name a coach, anywhere, anytime, anyhow, who did it better than Doyt Perry."

Plenty if you make the line high enough to attract an equal amount of money to both sides of the bet.OptionQB wrote:Yeah, anytime "key" players are suspended or missing in any form, the bookies generally take games off the board until they can get a handle on how the team will perform.
