Junction has a decent selection and if you are lucky you'll get someone who knows how to pur a proper pint of Guinness.
Haven't been to Trotters in a VERY long time. Might have to go check it out again since they have Boddinton's...I love that stuff.

2 years ago Campus Pollyeyes & BW-3 both had it, now neither do. Must not be a big seller.

I have been to Trotters, under the previous owner, once. That was 1994 thanks to an staff member at the University during some small alumni gathering.

The food was good, and I thought it was an attractive place to eat. Oddly I've not been back there since. Mostly I judge a place by how fast they refill my ice tea.

Hammb- Glad to hear someone else likes the Boddington's - stuff is so creamy and good. When I lived in South Carolina every bar seemed to carry it on tap and when I moved back to BG I noticed the B-dubs had it on tap also and thought it would only be a matter of time before it really caught on, but it hasn't . . . yet. . .

Also at Trotter's you can see an actual falcon helmet from 1980 (pictured below)

Exactly! It's creamy! I don't know what it is about that stuff, but it rocks. Its not real stout, or even dark really, but damn does it taste good.
