Here's a classic case of a guy that works his butt off in practice and has done several things over the years to help his team win games. He makes one mistake and the folks that call themselves fans can't wait to crucify the kid. Just another reason why I can't stand OSU...the fans.
OSU ridiculous fans...

Second (and assuming this will get moved), I think it is ridiculous that a player would get sent hate mail. However, and not to defend this idiot in any way, there is a lot of anger that comes with a big time loss. And while I don't think (I hope!) any BG fans have sent any hate mail to an individual player after the first two weeks, I think we have seen this same type of anger and resentment around here lately.

We've seen anger but I don't think anyone would actually send the kid an email or harass our players. that's the thing about these boards. We can vent our anger here. We don't have to go as low to send a player hate mail or threaten them.
I remember a few years ago when we played osu and a certain player dropped a wide open pass on the goal line. Was I pleased that he dropped it? No. But would I send him hate mail and blame him for the loss? No.

No, no, no. I wasn't saying that. I was just saying that it is the same type of thing. A "sports psychology," if you will.Tricky_Falcon wrote:We've seen anger but I don't think anyone would actually send the kid an email or harass our players. that's the thing about these boards. Believe me, I think this guy is crazy and should be thrown in the loony bin for a long, long time.

I mean Toledo UT not texas, i actually have a lot of respect for texas and their fans were very cool and classy saturday when I was there.. I bought a texas authentic football helmet off e-bay just because I was impressed with the class the team and the fans had. seemed like it was a clean pure hard played game by both teams

Some of us traveled to Muncie to see our favorite team!!!

In all fairness, that pass thrown was at this player's knees as he was falling backwards into the end zone...with a defender hitting him at the same time.
Had the pass been on the money, BG would have taken all the momentum away with a td. Our next pass was batted up in the air and picked off.
Some did want to blame this player for the loss. No way in the world was that right. We had our chances....
