Post by BGSUFootballFan »

i just heard on the news that he is expected to be suspended for at least this weekend's game vs. UCLA bc he has been skipping class all week! im just have to take UCLA to cover the spread now..
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Peterson is only suspended for practice. He will suit up this Saturday. UCLA is favored by seven, but I wouldn't take that bet. I have a hunch the Sooners will show up and win!
Sooner or later its the SOONERS!!

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops says he'll decide later this week whether suspended tailback Adrian Peterson will start Saturday against UCLA.

"We'll determine that as the week goes," Stoops said Tuesday. "We'll see. At this point, we anticipate him playing. Start or not depends on how we feel practice is going, what we feel we need to do. Depending on what further happens from here, we'll see."

He'll play...OU and Stoops can't afford another close game let alone another loss.

Well, Stoops better find another team then  . I think UCLA wins regardless of whether or not Peterson plays.

i agree, UCLA has this back named maurice drew who can flat out play. also, a family member of drew recently passed away so he is going to be determined to tear up oklahoma.

And I vaguely remember OU fans being some of the nicest we have encountered around here...So why are we taking pleasure in their misfortune?

I don't remember any making fun of our defense after we got lambasted by Wisconsin, do you?

I was kind of thinking the same thing. I have a lot of respect for their fan base, and I feel for them right now. They have been very, very supportive of us since we played them.

He's no Booker Stanley, that's for sure.
