1: UT - It's because I'm envious of them, I'm sure.
2: I would have a to agree with Schad. Any school/fan base basking in their own arrogance is a school/fan base which resides in my cross-hairs. To wit: Any fan (BCS) who gauges the quality of of another fan base solely upon the athletic budget of that individual's chosen school.

Toledo/BG
Toledo and Bowling Green have been playing since 1919, the first year of football at BG.
BG leads the overal series, but to show how good this series has been..........since 1980, Toledo leads the series 13-12 and after this year's game in BG (if the trend continues) the series will be tied 13-13. Of course I fully expect another game in the MACC on a neutral field and my Rockets to win that game to win the MAC.
There is no rivalry in the MAC that is better than the UT/BG one, and only the CMU/WMU one even comes close.

If it comes down to that, we'll have to borrow unis from a Big East school. We know how well you guys do at Ford Field against those guys.rocketfootball wrote:Of course I fully expect another game in the MACC on a neutral field and my Rockets to win that game to win the MAC.![]()

I wouldn't say BG-UT is the best rivalry. I know we are bias from where we live, I am included in that, best I am sure the people in NW Ohio and Southern Ohio think otherwise. I would say the Akron-Kent rivalry can be considered just as good as the BG-UT one, and Miami and Ohio U, well I think, that is actually a better rivalry.
Re: Toledo/BG
Best FOOTBALL rivalry? BG-UT hands down. Overall, I might give a little more credit to Miami(OH)-OU, but still put it as 1 and 1A with BG-UT.bgsufan1972 wrote:I wouldn't say BG-UT is the best rivalry.
