Ugh. Reason 12,386 why web designers need to realize that giving your images height AND width attributes is a bad idea. In this case, you get a stretched out "usually kinda hot, but not right here, and still awfully damn annoying Black Eyed Peas chick".

Wait.

Saskatchewan and Ottawa both had the nickname, I thought (although one may be two words versus the other).

Did Ottawa lose its team or change the name?

If I recall right, the Ottawa Rough Riders (two words) folded in 1996 or 1997 to be replaced in 2001 or so by the Ottawa Renegades.

It seems that Josh's competition at QB is:

Henry Burris from Temple, he is injured

Danny Wimprine from last years Memphis Tigers

Jason Gesser form Washington St.

I hope he can learn the offense quickly and beat out this fine collection of scrubs, has beens and never will-bees

Burris is something -- let's not take a guy lightly because he has played most of his career in the CFL... and he's out only beause he's hurt. The rest of the QBs I can't say I know very much about.

One thing I do know though is Harris will get a chance to play in meaningful games if he goes to the CFL -- mainly because professional QBs in every league are at such a premium as is the "win now" mentality. Smart (adjusting to the different rules is harder evidently than one would think), accurate, mobile QBs get a chance pretty quick, despite my beloved Hamilton's hanging on for dear life to old Danny McManus.

No the guy from Temple is hurt. If memory serves, I think it's Jason Gesser from Washington State.

I just saw Josh and family at the bank so he's still in NE Ohio.

It made my day to wish him luck in person.
