A few comments about the FMB...

Post by FliccGirl »

from Ball State fans at www.bsufans.com :

"Get the band more involved in the game. BG's band played in between plays and did a great job of making some noise for their team."

"We had to try to drown out the BG band. Not knowing anything about music, why did their smaller band sound louder than ours? Or is it that the ziggy-zoomy thing is so darn annoying?"

"Our band could take a few lessons from BG. They play in between plays and show a lot of enthusiam. We need more out of the band, especially when we're driving down field. They need to be more a part of the game. To be fair, their pregame presentation is good (and I missed halftime)."

Well, I know that the BSU mello section only had about five people compared to our twelve.

I think we're about the same size, or a little bigger. I found one of the Ball State bandies on facebook & thanked them for their hospitality, etc, and asked how many they had in their band. Answer was ~200.

But I think in the stands, the block we were in was a little wider and not as high as theirs, so if someone was just looking at height in the stands, they would've looked bigger.
