I think the reason why I'm apprehensive to say that he's a surefire NFL talent, is because it takes something so special to be an NFL talent at the position he's playing. It's one of the positions where it takes an athletic freak to play at that high of a level.
Look at this way, Dwight Smith was probably the best MAC CB I've ever seen. He was dominant for 3 years at Akron. His senior season teams didn't even look at that side of the field because they knew their guy was covered over there. STILL Dwight Smith went in the 3rd round of the draft.
I don't care how good you look in college if you cannot back up your game film with some serious athletic ability credentials you will not be playing that position on Sundays.
