I'm not into blaming Krebs for anything. He rocks.

But we can't forget the Golden Rule: He who has the gold rules.

If we offered enough money, I'm sure we could get Ohio State to play us at the Doyt at 3 a.m. on a Wednesday.

Money is always going to be part of it.

I would not want a top tier BCS team in Doyt Perry. I don't think the place could handle it, and I say that from a logistical standpoint. Things like ADA, concessions, and the ability to get people in and out of our seats in a timely manner need to be fine tuned first. Mid-level BCS conference teams are alright because the tend no to travel all that well. As much as I love Doyt Perry, right now I see it as our biggest hurdle in getting that marquee (sp?) BCS team in BG. But I am sure the department is planning and doing what needs to be done. Although some, myself included, think that process is moving a little slower in some areas. And I am NOT talking about the SEBO Center.

freak has it right, falconboy. We make every effort to sign deals that will bring all sorts of teams to the Doyt. Many teams simply will not speak seriously to us. Others want 2 for 1 etc. I would say that we will have to rely on the Boise type 1 for 1's primarily along with the creative games like Wisc at Cleveland for home games.

Perhaps the MAC office work with Big Ten scheduling will bring positive results. Believe me, our AD is trying his best.

Go Falcons!

Who cares

Why do we make a big deal when Iowa State and Fresno St. plays UT. First those teams are not an every year competetor to play in the BCS. Keep in mind we will play a team that has played in a BCS game last year, Boise St., and we played a team that is in the run year after year in Wisconsin. We also will be playing tosu next year and they are a dangerous team every year. So stop trying to same Toledo plays BCS teams when in reality they don't. Oh yeah that Purdue team that they play, well they are just pretenders every year, except one very very very lucky year. I should not forget to mention that Pitt did make a BCS game but should never have been playing in that game with a 7-4 record.
