That depends on how pro coaches will try to change his delivery. He may crash and burn simply because the coaches would feel the need to change his throwing motion to what "is correct."

They wont change his delivery, there are plenty of QBs with different releases, it doesnt matter how you throw it, as long as you get the job done.

They can and will try to change his throwing motion, they always do. A knock on Doug Flutie was that he was too short and got batted down too much. Never mind that even in his 40s he was/is better than half of the QBs in the NFL.

Omar is tall, but they will still try. That said, they know a lot more about getting talented QBs through such transitions, and not everybody crashes after such a change. College coaches down't try such changes because at this level it isn't as vital among other things.

Amen! I love all the talk about Omar, his stats, and the possibility of an invite to New York/winning the Heisman, but I think we're losing some focus on what really matters this season. If I had to choose between Omar winning the Heisman or BG winning the MAC title, I would take the MAC title every time.

I think we all would.

But it's sort of a bye week, and I know I'm getting antsy for things to talk about.

And I don't think for a second Omar is worried about records. He's way too smart for that.
