Potatoes

Post by bacn3 »

Did anyone see the ch. 13 sports at 6? They had an interview with Omar, so I thought ohh this will be good, something about the game to get me ready for wed. Instead I got, "Do you like potatoes Omar?" "Yeah I love potatoes!" WHAT??? that's it????

look at the bright side.

Omar probably knew that the nearest potato farm is 200 miles east of Boise and that our economy has little to do with spuds.

or maybe it's just an ignorant newsboy who chose the job to get closer to the cheerleaders than he's ever been...

Could've been worse. The reporter could have asked Omar if he likes to bowl.

I believe mashed is his favorite form of potato.
I like that steak comes from cows. That is why a cow will not think twice about eating you.

I don't know. I tend to bake them, scoop them out, mash them with butter & sour cream, fill the skins again, and then serve 'em & with yet more sour cream and a touch a salt & pepper. Unbeatable. I'm game for this twice baked lark though, apart from baking them twice, what do you do?

So you do pretty much the same thing, except had an ingedient or two. I bake em, scoop'em out, then mash them with sour cream, butter, shredded cheddar cheese, salt pepper and some chopped chives. Then fill the shells, top with a little extra cheese and paprika. Than put them back in the oven at 375F for another 25-30 minutes to make them crusty on top.
