Falconboy,
I find it comical that you have not donated a dime but you expect rich alums and former athletes to donate millions at a time.

Frankly folks its not up to me to donate hundreds of dollors or whatever to the university. I've never gone to school there anyway. I'm not alumn. Not saying a none alumn couldn't donate , quite the contrary. I think is kind of dumb to expect young none alumn 23 year-old to donate to a school he never went to. I love BG sports and would love to be a millionare and give money out the wazoo but I don't have that kind of money and I have other personal priorties to take care of. I've wondred where are the big money donors , but in thinking about this longer, I've come to the conclusion that we just don't have them period. BGSU is known for its education degrees and hence graduates alot teachers. Just how many of them are going be able to donate money on the salary they make? Obviously the huge majority of them aren't either , and you come to me asking I don't donate. Your argument is quite flawed.

once again, we don't care if you donate money. However, until you do....

SHUT UP ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH MONEY COMING IN!

carry on.

I think its kind of dumb for a young "none alum" to constantly bitch about there not being enough "some alums" with money to donate. "Kind of" is my understatement of the month.

What is that old saying my mom used to tell me? "If you don't have anything positive to say..."

The point is that you have no room to be pointing fingers.

I think it's fair for any fan of Falcon athletics - donor or non-donor - to wonder why we have trouble raising sufficient funds for a project or operating expenses, as long as it's done in a constructive manner. Just my 2 cents.

Exactly. If you've noticed I have never called out certain people on this board who are I know are likey alumns of BG. I've never felt the need to personally call out people on why don't they donate money. I'm just asking legit questions.

No one on these board bitch and moan about things quite like you do. You are in a category of your own.

Well, I think FalconBoy is onto something. Bowling Green cranks out teachers, liberal arts majors, journalists, musicians. We don't have a med school. We don't have a law school.

Aside from the business majors, I don't know where we can expect to develop a huge pool of wealthy alumni who are going to give back.

That certainly makes it tougher for us -- and, in general, the MAC.

That has also been brought up many times on these boards. Probably in posts like this. falconboy didn't just think of it on his own. don't give him too much credit.

Nice try but I have thought of this way before. Yeah, if we offered medical degrees and law degrees we would probably have a bigger pool of wealthier folks. They business degrees would be the only way we would get more wealthy alumns.

Well, I don't have a business degree, but I'm thinking about going into coin dealing.

It doesn't surprise me that you were trying to find "new" reasons why BG is inferior to other schools.
