Prayers for Terna Nande

Post by Bleeding Orange »

I just read that Miami's Terna Nande is still in the hospital with a serious liver injury suffered after a hit to the ribs in this past Saturday's game with Kent. Chances are he might be out for the rest of the season because of it. I realize that Miami is one of our rivals, but it is sad to see anything like this happen to a student athlete. Keep him in your thoughts.

That is terrible news. I read that he was injured in the game, but I didn't bother looking anything up about it. Hopefully he can get back before the end of the year because he is a heck of a football player.

I never want to see a player injured. Let's hope he's back on the field soon.

This sort of thing transcends any rivalry.

I hope this lad makes a full recovery.

I echo what everyone has said.
I'll keep him in my prayers. Ya never want to see anyone get hurt.

If you told me Terna Nande was going to be hurt, I'd be all for it... of course, I'd be rooting for a severe paper cut or a hangnail or something. This is just scary. Hopefully he can recover quickly. As we learned last year at BG with Navarro and Aaron Richardson, football can take a backseat to life in a hurry.
