The season is not over people

Post by tekekini »

yes, We arent going to be doing any BCS bowling this year, Yes Omar pretty much lost an invitation to the heisman presentation in NYC and a 1st round draft selection if he was to leave early like some have speculated.

but now we have to look at it as the season is the MAC and in that season we are 1-0. :partyman:

Now I know the world is ending.... tekekini is making sense.

totally agree with ya, and there's plenty of room for concern, but there's also a second half here... this is the first post I read on here during the game tonight and I might stop here.

Game ain't over yet boys. We looked awful, but maybe we'll make adjustments at the half and get back into it. I'm not trying to be funny here either.

Season is not over but people are going to be licking their chops when our defense comes on the field.

After watching us struggle with Ball State and now getting exploited by Boise State, I hardly doubt anyone is fearing us in the MAC.

This could be a long season if things don't change soon and I don't realistically see that happening.

I think after a 2 hour time difference, along with arriving 3 hours late, threw the rythm off of normal preparations and the offense has not handled it very well so far. I think the defense actually has played decent at times so far tonight..the offense is not helping them rest.

if the offense finds a rythm i think BG can come back....i think they cana tleast make a game out of it. plus BSU really came out tonight 1st home game after going 0-2..they were destined to win the game i am starting to think.

We will be fine in the MAC..Miami isnt very impressive..in my opinion..plenty of teams we will simply just outscore if the defense continues to be mediocre to less than mediocre. when it comes to UT though we are going to need to step it up. not playing NIU is going to help a lot this year.

Looking on the bright side, if this team really is this bad, the games should at least be competitive this year. No 49-0 games at halftime with this team for sure.

cant blame it on the defense...special teams is blowing this one..blocked punt and kick return.. offense isnt letting the defense rest...hardly the defense's fault they came up big holding boise to 2 field goals on those first two scores

Um...I think we can blame it on the defense. Yeah special teams is blowing it but the defense is just letting guys run by again. Nice arm tackles.

i will eat a frickin turd if we come back and win this game, bc the 3Q is always our worst, no way we come back from 21 down on the road, but im still praying for it...
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

I think some of our 3rd quarter troubles have come from always taking the ball to start the game. Defense starts out, gives up a TD and then the offense has lost its rhythm by the time it gets out there. Maybe, since we get the ball first, the opposite will occur. We need some momentum. The only time we had momentum, it was killed Fry's missed XP and Timchenko's failed tackle attempt.

Mad props, teke. Mad props.
