I think this season we are witnessing the begining of the end for a winning program here at BGSU. We've seen Unparalleled success the last few years and now we shall slip into that period where winning is very hard to come by. Hopefully the period will be a short one. Here's to BG and the memories they've given us the last few years!
This will probably get deleted, I don't care:

Thanks bud, and I suppose I'm am acting like an asshole. Tomorrow I'll probably rethink some of the things I wrote.....but haven't you ever heard of venting!!! Maybe you need to relax a bit and keep the gutter talk off the site. I may be drunk and upset about the Falcon loss but at least I've kept the language civil. Hopefully nobody takes the things I say personally, but Bleeding, you need to chill out, and have a drink, cuz BG just doesn't have it this year

I appologize, Bourbon. I am frustrated, not just with you but a lot of things right now. Your post rubbed me the wrong way in a very bad way, but I really didn't mean to take it out on you. I offer you my sincerest appology, and I hope that a moderator will delete my previous post.

I knew at the time that it was the wrong thing to post. Frustration is no excuse, and you didn't deserve that.

Thanks Bleeding....Sorry again for my attitude, it's just been a rough night for for the BG family. Hopefully we can take this as a learning tool, and never get beat like this again for a long, long time. Now I shall get my orange glasses, and start talking a lot a crap to the school up North.

Rightupinthere wrote:You guys do know that the OFFENSE held the ball a total of about six minutes in the first half?

Now, a thinking person would wonder if that would have ANY effect on a defense.

Would it?

Think, McFly. Think.
If our so called "DEFENSE" could have made a few stops tonight then quite possibly our OFFENSE would have held the ball longer than 6mins in the first half. Why don't you THINK about that!!! Sorry for the emphasis but I am disgusted with our entire team(offense, defense, and the coaching staff) thus far this season. We might as well just hand the MAC championship to Toledo this year.

Two 3 and out in a row agaist a team with that offensee. The next several series didn't get much longer. Yes, the D isn't good but I don't believe they were the major issue of the game.

I'm beginning to steer my attention on the coaching staff. There are foul things afoot and really do believe that this team has stopped "playing" for Brandon. I also don't believe Brandon learns from his mistakes. Experience is only as good as the teaching it offers you.

Look, I understand that we are 1-2 and we haven't put a good product on the field, but I am i no way ready to say that this team can't win the MAC. And if we do win the MAC, IMO this season would be more successful than any of the previous. The team played poorly tonight. I was disgusted by the performance, but it seems like everyone wants to just throw in the towel already for this season. I think its coaches and players that are responsible for the poor play.

When watching our defense I see guys trying to make a big hit instead of wrapping the guy up and making the tackle.

My point to this post, is lets be upset, but lets get over it and move on. We have another game to prepare for. And while I might be upset with coaches, players I'm going to continue to support them as long as they are a part of this university. I believe we can right the ship and still have a great year and another bowl bid and mac title.

Well, I've been more embarassed. I was at the 2000 Buffalo game.

But, yikes, it was awful. The people I was with give me hell. When it was 41-6, they insisted on turning off the game to watch the Indians.

IMO with such a terrible defense that continually gets exploited every week by running the ball on us we can't win the MAC. Average running backs come out of a game against us looking like a heisman candidate. Am I throwing in the towel? No, but things need to change, Pack your bags Brandon I as well as many others on here want a change, and maybe after this season is over you will realize it too.

wow two 3 and outs in a row  Gimme a break the defense sucks. But the ENTIRE team looked awful tonight. There is plenty of blame to go around, and I am starting with Gregg Brandon.

Too many guys playing out of position - we have DE's playing DT, LB's playing DE, safeties playing LB, and defensive backs that sit back in the softest zone I have ever seen. I'm disappointed in the development of some of these guys that do have talent - Piepkow, Parks, Johnson, etc. Defense was terrible tonight, but this loss was a team effort.
Wow, your just now figuring that out. What have I been saying for the last 3 months?

Being on the sidelines for the 1986 game at Washington, I can surely tell you that I've been more embarassed. Same with Blackney's last visit to Philadelphia.

As bad as we played against Boise State, I didn't see anybody quitting.

As little of the game I saw, I could tell some of that, too... especially the fire Omar finally showed (not just last night, but in general) when they decided to punt...err..take a delay of game and then punt on 4th and 8. Of course, it worked just as the coaching staff had planned when the kid muffed the punt... but will Brandon get credit for that? Noooooooo....
