new falcon club shirts

Post by BGSUfanatUT »

Not sure what the real title for them is, but this year's "free shirt" is what Im talking about. Its brown this year, with the new font and logo. I really like them, but a lot of people dont. What do you all think? They crush last years "off-orange" colored ones for sure.

Falcon Club Shirts?

Post by Class of 61 »

What shirts are you talking about? I've heard nothing about any F.C. shirts, brown, orange, free or gilt edged for that matter. Frankly, I wish we DID have some F.C. shirts available for purchase. If we do, they're being kept secret from long time members, like me.

I'm not at the highest membership level, but I don't remember a shirt at any of the levels.

Like I said, "I dont know the title of them", I know I wasnt clear, but what I meant by that was, are the F C shirts? or Extra Point club shirts, or whatever, I dont know. BUt they always give awa free shirts at the first home game. Those are what i was refering too.

They are not Falcon Club shirts, they are the shirts that are given away to the students. I think it was a bit of a slip to call them falcon club shirts (lower case). I think they used to say "extra point club" so he was just calling them falcon club shirts , not Falcon Club shirts. . .

I saw them at the game and they looked pretty cool.

Shirts

Post by Class of 61 »

I do remember there being a post re: pre-game party for students before the SEMU game, and that "t-shirts would be given to 1st 1,000 students there." It was posted on one of the official BG sites, but I don't remember which one. I do know that I told my friend Joyce about it and she forwarded the info to her daughter, a soph. at BG.
There was also something about Paul Miles playing before the game, but I never heard anything about that later either. 8)

Perhaps there was a mix up in communications. I'm pretty sure there was some kid named Paul playing Galaga at Myle's in the hours before kickoff... :o

Paul Miles

Flip,
Not sure if your comment was meant to be humorous or sarcastic...but I DID see a note on one of the websites that Paul Miles was supposed to play prior to the game, along with the t-shirt promo etc.
