The MAC is down

Post by NIUBro »

Talk on our board about the MAC being a big disappointment this year. I would have to say that our out of conference performances have not been good.
With the exception of Ohio of course but than Pitt is not very good.
What is your opinion? Is the MAC talent way down? Are we being outcoached?

Toledo stands in our way but with our young D every game is an unknown for us. We can score but can we stop the other team. Sounds like a similar problem for BG this year. If we both get to the MAC championship it should be quite an offensive shootout.
Good luck the rest of the way.

NIUBro, I think you're right. Our "elite" teams have shown that we can't compete with any team at any time. Right now, the conference is playing like any other mid-major and it's kind of crappy... :( Oh well...Let's just hope we turn things around for conference play.

yea, the MAC really struggled in OOC play. not in just wins and losses but in terms of how bad the losses were.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

We didnt belong. Frustrating because I was hoping atleast the big 4 would prove we belonged.
