Rogo got signed to a try-out agreement this week with the San Diego Gulls of the ECHL. Go Rogo!! Hopefully he'll make the roster.

That's awesome news! Rogo is a great guy who works his tail off!!!

Good luck Alex!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I also want to send my best wishes to Rogo. He's a good kid and was one of my favorites on the team.

And completely unrelated to Rogo, but along the lines of my favorites from the team, I just read today that the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL have hired a new assistant coach: Doug Schueller. Another good Minnesota boy! :)

Good for Doug! Tough kid. He probably played on that knee much longer than he should have.

And he knew it.
But he went out a winner: his team, Coventry Blaze, won all three Cups they compete for. (I don't understand the English leagues and all their Cups, but there you have it). Coventry had some other CCHA guys, too, like Dan Carlson (Notre Dame) and a dude from LSSU who's name I'm forgetting at the moment.
