I caught the tailend of this piece on ESPN so I do not have the entire story. Texas Texh plays Indiana St. this weekend. I guess it is thier plan to try to score 100 points on this poor little team. This is the classless Big 12 that I always thank of. What does scoring 100 points on an awful team prove? Herbie was making fun of them for it and said he would not even bother talk about them until they play a team with a pulse.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some ISU players rolling up on some knees and a Texas Tech quarterback with a broken kneecap.

Yeah I know, and a lot of teams have 100 point games in their history books. The thing is that it was in an enirely different era of football. When was the last time a 1-A team scored 100 points? I cannot remember it happening in my lifetime. 70 points is where you draw the line and do everything you can to keep from going higher IMO. They put up 80 on Sam Houston last week so I think they may be serious about doing it. Just adds another team from the Big 12 that I cannot stand.1987alum wrote:kdog: This could be the ugliest college football game in many, many years.
FWIW, BG did score more than 100 points in a football game.

Re: Texas Tech
I don't know that it's a classless Big 12 thing, as much as it is a classless Mike Leach thing. But if the UNDEFEATED Baylor Bears want to score 100 points against the Aggies next week, it is okay by me!kdog27 wrote:I caught the tailend of this piece on ESPN so I do not have the entire story. Hm, maybe the QB will get both his legs broken on a good late hit...
Not that I'm condoning.
