Soccer starts 1-0 MAC!

BG knocked off NIU on the road Friday, 3-1. Senior Britt Anderson had her second two-goal match in as many Fridays, and classmate Julie Trundle had a school record-tying three assists.

Yet another senior, Ali Shingler, picked up the complete-match win in goal. Shingler was called upon to make just one save.

BG is at WMU today and the results aren't in yet...If BG could start 2-0 MAC, with 2 road wins?? That would be a great start. Especially considering BG hits the road again next weekend with a pair of matches at Ball State (Fri) and Miami (Sun).

BTW, BG has only 4 home MAC matches against 7 road MAC matches in '05. Who put that sked together??? :roll:

Unfortunately, BG got beat at WMU yesterday 4-0! :x

BG is now 5-5, 1-1 MAC.

The Falcons return home to prepare for another two-match road trip next weekend. BGSU will face Ball State on Friday (Sept. 30) before meeting Miami on Sunday (Oct. 2) to conclude a five-match road swing.
