We will NOT end up in 8th place this year!! Everyone thinks we will not do well since both Sigalets are gone. We will prove them wrong by the end of the season. BANK ON IT!!

Preseason Rankings
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Given where our program is at in the reestablishment process, I am very, very happy that we are under rated going into this year. This is only bulletin board material that will help Pooch motivate this talented group of kids. I don't see a single negative in this ranking.
DROP IT!! The puck, that is.

We will definitely get home ice, and I seriously think we can contend for 1st this year. Last year we were a bit young. I think this year we will be much improved.
Check out our new BGSU hockey site: http://www.bgsuhockey.com
Losing the Siggy brothers hurts, but I still think we'll improve. We were young & exciting last year. Offensive defensemen can be replaced by more young talent, as good as he was. If one of our goalies steps up I think we'll continue to improve.
Paluch as brought an attitude and winning mentality. On top of that he's brought repeated good recruiting classes. Unless the new goaltenders fall flat on their faces (which I doubt) I don't see us finishing that low this season.

If there's one thing BGSU's always had a knack for, it's bringing in quality goaltenders.hammb wrote:Losing the Siggy brothers hurts, but I still think we'll improve.
